BIC is launching an exciting mix of new lighters and lighter designs during the first quarter of 2010, including the BIC Clic™ Minitronic Electronic Lighter and new designs within the BIC Special Edition® Symbols, Astrology, and Americana lighter series. “We have several new lighters and lighter designs for consumers to choose from during the first quarter of 2010,” said Adam Blumenthal, brand manager- Lighters, BIC Consumer Products USA. “Providing retailers with a variety of lighters and designs for consumers to choose is critical. The new introductions should appeal to consumers with a wide variety of interests.” BIC Clic Minitronic Electronic Lighter The BIC Clic Minitronic Electronic Lighter is a sleek, fashionable, and reliable “electronic” lighter for female and male consumers who want a conveniently-sized pocket lighter. This new lighter is available in seven eye-catching colors including blue, red, lime green, orange, hot pink, purple and yellow. The BIC Clic Minitronic has a SRP of $1.54 per lighter. BIC Special Edition Americana Series Perfect for men and women who are proud to show their support of the USA, this lighter series showcases patriotic designs that are contemporary and unique. There are eight different designs to choose from within this series. BIC Special Edition Astrology Series Each of the twelve designs within the BIC Astrology lighter series features one of the twelve zodiac symbols allowing consumers to identify with their personal sign. This lighter series will be especially attractive to female consumers who are 19 to 35 years of age, and enjoy learning about their star signs. BIC Special Edition Symbol Series The BIC Symbol lighter series features designs that are unique, eclectic images appealing to a range of personal tastes. This series has nine different designs. All lighters within the BIC Special Edition® Symbol, Astrology and Americana series have a SRP of $1.69 per lighter.
